A global space revolution is being fuelled by the exploration and exploitation of new data sets enabled by small and nanosatellites to deliver data products in response to user needs, and for the betterment of life on Earth. This data is yielding insight into corporate policy and industrial activity around the globe; from corporate supply chains to oil production, and onto shipping and maritime activity and so much more.
To create a network and focus for this expanding activity, a 2-day international conference is being held at the Technology & Innovation Centre in Glasgow focussing on the use of such satellite data and information to develop solutions for industry and commercial applications. It will bring together data users from across the economy with data generators from the space sector, as well as pooling innovators and entrepreneurs from academia and the commercial sector with regulators, legislators, and venture capitalists.
We are encouraging abstracts from industry who have a need for improved data or at developing resources that can generate applications from new data products as they become more readily available. Deadline for submissions is 20th October 2016.
Come and find out how satellite data can support and advance your company’s growth and innovation by hearing how new data products and applications are being used to provide solutions to challenges in your sector in today’s changing world.
